Finding a bird, logging it and reading the map is free for every birder, and stays free. Membership covers what Bïndo costs to run, and it opens the tools that go further.
R69.99 a month, or R699.99 a year. Cancel any time. Or try it free for 14 days first, with no card needed.
The birding stays free. Everything you need to find a bird and log it is free, permanently.
Membership adds the tools. Bird Call ID, Voice Add, Bird traits and Next Bird, plus your data in full.
It keeps Bïndo independent. Members pay for the servers and the small team. There is nothing else to sell.
Help in the field, when you are not sure.
Four tools a Member can reach for at the moment it matters. A free birder can see where they live in the app, but cannot use them.

Bird Call ID
Record a call and identify the bird.

Voice Add
Say a bird's name to log it, without stopping to type.

Bird traits
Filter by colour, size, habitat and behaviour.

Next Bird
The bird you are most likely to add next, wherever you are.
Then the data, once the birding has you.
Real screens from the app, as a Member sees them.

Your Radar
See which of an area's birds you still need.

Following leaderboard
Filter area leaderboards to just the people you follow.

Full profiles

These lists come straight from the app, so they always show what membership includes today. Limits appear only where the two plans differ.
What we will not do.
Logging, lists and the map stay free. They are how people get into birding, so we do not charge for them.
We will not use streaks, flood you with notifications, or design anything to pull you back into the app when you should be outside.
Membership never buys a place on a leaderboard. The bird is the reward, and paying more cannot get you a better one.
